HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  George 
4Douglas Hunter of Peoria, who passed away on May 13, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, George Hunter was born on December 30, 1951 in 
6Marion, Louisiana, to Jesse L. Hunter and Reva Lee; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, George Hunter was employed as a painter with 
8Painters Local #157 in Peoria for over 40 years; he also worked 
9for Becker Construction; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, George Hunter enjoyed racing and spending time 
11with his family; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, George Hunter was preceded in death by his parents 
13and two sisters; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, George Hunter is survived by his wife, Martha 
15William; his daughters, Tracy (Edward) Cagle, Felicia (Esau) 
16Smith, Nicole Proctor, and Kimberly Williams; his son, Jules 
17Williams; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his 
18sisters, Guthie and Linda; his brother, Jesse; and many nieces 
19and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
4George Douglas Hunter; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of George Hunter as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
