HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  James G. 
4Moon, who passed away on May 18, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Moon was born on October 19, 1948 in Macomb; 
6his parents were Arden Lee and Marjorie L. Moon; he married 
7Cindy McGaughey on August 8, 1970 at First Christian Church in 
8Macomb; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Moon worked at Roger Brothers Wholesale as 
10an institution food salesman for 34 years; after the business 
11closed, he worked for Kohl Wholesale in Quincy for 6 years 
12until his retirement; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, James Moon enjoyed hunting, fishing, being 
14outdoors, and NASCAR; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Moon was preceded in death by his parents 
16and his brothers, Larry Moon, Gregg Moon, and Gary Moon; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, James Moon is survived by his wife, Cindy; his 
18sons, J. Christopher Moon (special friend, Angela 
19Stufflebean), Joseph A. (Erin) Moon, and Jeffrey A. (Dana) 
20Moon; his grandchildren, Madeline, Ellen, Devon, Kaitlyn, AJ,

1and Luke Moon; his brothers, Arden Lee (Cheryl) Moon II, Bill 
2(Carol) Moon, and Scott (Angie) Moon; his sister, Linda 
3Knowles; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
7James G. Moon; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of James Moon as an expression of our 
10sympathy.
