HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Judy
4Harlan of East Alton, who passed away on May 24, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Judy Harlan was born to Ernest and Wilma Maguire;
6she married Jackie Ray Harlan on May 23, 1970; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Judy Harlan retired from Federal Steel in East
8Alton; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Judy Harlan was a lifetime member and past
10President of the ladies auxiliary at the East Alton American
11Legion; she was a member of the Piasa Indian Drum and Bugle
12Corps; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Judy Harlan was preceded in death by her parents;
14her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil and Madeline
15Harlan; her brother-in-law, Donald Harlan; and her nephew,
16Christopher Lee Graham; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Judy Harlan is survived by her husband of 46
18years, Jackie; her children, Devi Watson, Jennifer and Rowland
19Novack, Jay and Sandy Harlan, and Kim and Mike Laster; her
20grandchildren, Megan Watson (fiancé Cory Henry), Zackary

1Watson, Payton Patterson, Madlyn Novack, Mallory and Molly
2Novack, Amber, Brooke, and Brittany Harlan, Kaydence and
3Kristina Harlan, Jerimy, Jarad, and Kayla Laster; her
4brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dottie and Lee Graham; her
5nieces, Julie and Todd Heinemann and Holly and Mike Bunch; her
6nephews, Dustin Maguire and Derek Maguire; and her brother,
7Michael Maguire; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
9NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
10mourn the passing of Judy Harlan, and extend our sincere
11condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
12her; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Judy Harlan as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
