HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  and recognize Jack Aiello 
4for his many talents, especially his ability to impersonate the 
5voices of famous people; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello lives in Arlington Heights and 
7attended Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School; he went on to 
8attend Thomas Middle School, where he was always highly 
9regarded by his teachers and coaches as a young man of 
10character; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello developed a talent as a musician, with 
12his musical talents being focused on the jazz piano; he is also 
13a good athlete, playing lots of tennis, badminton, and table 
14tennis; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, During his three years at Thomas Middle School, 
16Jack Aiello was selected as the Thomas "Timberwolf of the 
17Month" in each of the years he was there; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello has always had a knack for doing 
19impersonations of the voices of various people, including his 
20parents and his teachers; and

1    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello has become an avid fan of the 
2political process and might consider becoming a politician and 
3running for elective office sometime in the future; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello traveled out to Iowa for the Iowa 
5Presidential Caucuses earlier this year and met United States 
6Senators Bernie Sanders, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul, as well as 
7Carly Fiorina while he was there; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello was selected to be one of the speakers 
9at the Thomas Middle School commencement ceremony this year; he 
10used his special talent for impersonations to give a speech in 
11which he gave impersonations of President Obama, United States 
12Senators Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders, former U.S. Secretary of 
13State Hillary Clinton, and presidential candidate Donald 
14Trump; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Aiello "brought the house down" with his 
16impersonations of those individuals; the video of his 
17impersonations went viral virtually overnight, leading to 
18interviews on national TV network morning shows and an 
19appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"; 
20therefore, be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
22NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Jack Aiello on his many talents, especially his 
2ability to impersonate the voices of famous people, and wish 
3him much future success in whichever future career path he 
4chooses; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Jack Aiello as an expression of our esteem and 
7respect.
