HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Brad Harrison for 
4his outstanding achievements as a pitcher and outfielder for 
5the O'Fallon Township High School baseball team; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Brad Harrison was recently placed on the IHSA 2016 
74A All-State Team; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Brad Harrison received the prestigious honor of 
9being placed on the 2016 Louisville Slugger High School 
10All-America first team; he was also named Player of the Year by 
11the Belleville News-Democrat; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Brad Harrison will join the Southern Illinois 
13University Salukis baseball team as a two-way player as an 
14outfielder and as a member of the pitching staff for the 
152016-2017 season; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Brad Harrison completed the 2015-2016 season with 
1712 wins and zero losses as a pitcher; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Brad Harrison completed the 2015-2016 season as a 
19hitter with 35 RBIs and six home runs, with an impressive 
20batting average of .402; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Brad Harrison for his outstanding achievements as 
4a pitcher and outfielder for the O'Fallon Township High School 
5Panthers baseball team and wish him well in the future; and be
