HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Shirley 
4Ann Jones of Pittsburg, who passed away on August 11, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Shirley Jones was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas 
6to James and Irene (Groves) Raglin on August 17, 1937; she 
7married Bill Jones in Pittsburg on May 28, 1960; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Shirley Jones was a homemaker; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Shirley Jones was preceded in death by her 
10parents; her  sons, Jimmy Newlin and Billy Jones; her sister and 
11brother-in-law, Pat and Willy White; and her brother-in-law, 
12Don Jackson; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Shirley Jones is survived by her husband, Bill; 
14her sons, Doug (Gina) Newlin, and Randy (Leasa) Jones; her 
15grandchildren, Jaleigha Jones, Breana Jones, and Miranda 
16Jones; her great-grandchild, Amirah Jones; her brother, 
17Melbern and Colleen Raglin; and her sisters, Kay Jackson, and 
18Thresa and Wesley Johns;

therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1mourn the passing of Shirley Ann Jones, and extend our sincere 
2condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
3her; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

6our deepest sympathy.
