HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Tim Gage on the occasion 
4of his retirement as Chief of the Goreville Fire Department 
5after 29 years of service; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, During his career with the Goreville Fire 
7Department, Tim Gage helped to make the department what it is 
8today through his great dedication and faithful service to the 
9citizens of Goreville; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, In addition to his service with the Goreville Fire 
11Department, Tim Gage served on the Goreville Village Board for 
1220 years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Following his retirement, Tim Gage will continue 
14to work at the Goreville Fire Department as a fireman and serve 
15as a mentor to the department's firemen; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Tim Gage and his loving wife, Cheryl, have two 
17children, Jordon and Christofer, and two grandchildren; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Tim Gage serves as a model of hard work, 
19integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
20Illinois; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Tim Gage on the occasion of his retirement and 
4wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Tim Gage as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
