HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Macy Trejo on the occasion 
4of becoming a State Officer of the Family, Career, and 
5Community Leaders of America (FCCLA); and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Macy Trejo was born on October 20, 1999; her 
7parents are Efrain and Treva Trejo; she has one sibling, Gage 
8Mendenhall; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Macy Trejo is the first State Officer of the 
10Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America to come from 
11Arcola High School since the 1970s; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Macy Trejo plans to attend Parkland Community 
13College in Champaign to complete general education courses; she 
14is unsure of her future major, but has many interests, 
15including oncology; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Macy Trejo enjoys being an active FCCLA member and 
17spending time with her family and friends; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Macy Trejo serves as a model of hard work, 
19integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
20Illinois; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Macy Trejo on the occasion of becoming a State 
4Officer of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America 
5and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Macy Trejo as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
