HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Martha O'Hara on the 
4occasion of her 100th birthday on October 22, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Martha O'Hara was born on October 22, 1916 in 
6Wisconsin; her family moved through many areas during the Great 
7Depression for her father's work, including Michigan and 
8Indiana, before moving to Illinois; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Martha O'Hara is a graduate of Morrisonville High 
10School; she worked as a seamstress and enjoyed doing crafts; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Martha O'Hara is a member of the Alter Rosary 
13Society, the Kincaid Women's Card Club, and the Women's Bowling 
14Association; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Martha O'Hara is the loving mother of eight 
16daughters; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Martha O'Hara is well regarded by her family and 
18friends as a very giving person and loving mother who always 
19finds time for her family's activities; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Martha O'Hara on the occasion of her 100th 
4birthday and wish her many happy and healthy years to come; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Martha O'Hara as a symbol of our esteem and 
8respect.
