| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Illinois Math and |
| 4 | | Science Academy (IMSA) in Aurora on being named the second-best |
| 5 | | public school in the country for 2017; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, The website, Niche, compiles data to create |
| 7 | | profiles and rankings of schools, colleges, and places to live; |
| 8 | | the public school rankings were based on data from the United |
| 9 | | States Department of Education; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, IMSA is a selective residential high school that |
| 11 | | draws students from across the State; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Niche also listed IMSA as the second-best high |
| 13 | | school in the country for science, technology, engineering, and |
| 14 | | math; therefore, be it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 17 | | congratulate the Illinois Math and Science Academy on being |
| 18 | | named the second-best public school in the country for 2017; |
