HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to commemorate the 50th wedding 
4anniversary of Ronald and Margaret Brankin on January 6, 2017; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Ronald and Margaret Brankin were both born and 
7raised in Chicago, where they continue to reside; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ronald and Margaret Brankin were married on 
9January 6, 1967 at St. Adrian Catholic Church in Chicago; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Over the course of their marriage, Ronald and 
11Margaret Brankin have raised a beautiful and loving family of 
12four
daughters, Valerie, Victoria, Virginia, and Veronica; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ronald and Margaret Brankin are the beloved and 
14proud grandparents to eight wonderful grandchildren who have

15brought the Brankin Family such joy, Jacqueline, Christopher, 
16Patrick, Madelyn, Jack, Bailey, Matthew, and Addison; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Ronald and Margaret Brankin's 50th wedding 
18anniversary marks an
important milestone in their lives; it 
19marks 50 years of love, devotion, and mutual support that 
20enables them to
be the strong, loving couple they are and the

1good friends and caring neighbors they have been to so many 
2over the
years; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Ronald and Margaret Brankin will be honored by 
4their daughters, their families, and their many friends as they 
5celebrate their anniversary at the Ridge Country Club in 
6Chicago on December 11, 2016; therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
8NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
9commemorate the 50th wedding anniversary of Ronald and Margaret 
10Brankin and we wish them many more wonderful years together; 
11and be it further
  
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to Ronald and Margaret Brankin as an expression of 
14our esteem and respect.
