HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Sandra 
4Elist Lacy of Plainfield, who passed away on December 27, 2016; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Sandra Lacy was born to Major and Mary Lacy on 
7August 24, 1950; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Sandra Lacy spent her career as an executive 
9assistant; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Sandra Lacy was a member of Peace Mercy and 
11Charity Missionary Baptist Church; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sandra Lacy enjoyed cooking and sewing; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Sandra Lacy had three children, Terrence Lacy, 
14Yovette Shaw, and Darold Lacy; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Sandra Lacy was a sister to some, a mother to a 
16few, and a nanny to all; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1mourn the passing of Sandra Elist Lacy, and extend our sincere 
2condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
3her; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to  the family of  Sandra Lacy as an expression of our 
6deepest sympathy.
