820 ILCS 130/1.5 new

     Amends the Prevailing Wage Act. Provides that the Department of Labor shall administer this Act. Provides that the Department shall adopt rules necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Act.

1    AN ACT concerning education.
  
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
3represented in the General Assembly:
  


 
4    Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended  by adding 
5Section 1.5 as follows:
 
6    (820 ILCS 130/1.5 new)
7    Sec. 1.5. Administration and rulemaking authority.  The 
8Department of Labor shall administer this Act. The Department 
9shall adopt rules necessary to effectuate the purposes of this 
10Act.
