| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Nutrition Outreach and Public Education Act |
| 5 | | is amended by changing Section 15 as follows:

establish a nutrition outreach and public |
| 9 | | education program, to
be administered by that Department in |
| 10 | | cooperation with the Department on
Aging and the State

| 11 | | Superintendent of Education. The program shall be established |
| 12 | | to ensure
maximum participation by eligible persons in federal |
| 13 | | and State food
assistance programs. The program shall be |
| 14 | | structured so as to increase
participation statewide but with |
| 15 | | particular attention to high-risk areas
with a focus on certain |
| 16 | | at-risk populations. |
