| 1 | | AN ACT concerning criminal law.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 18 as follows:
|

| 7 | | Sec. 18. Probation and court services departments |
| 8 | | considered pretrial services agencies. For the purposes of |
| 9 | | administering the provisions of Public Act 95-773, known as the |
| 10 | | Cindy Bischof Law and Public Act 98-1012, all probation and |
| 11 | | court services departments are to be considered pretrial |
| 12 | | services agencies under the Pretrial Services Act and under the |
| 13 | | bail bond provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.
