| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 4.6 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (225 ILCS 10/4.6 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 4.6. Vaccination requirements for employees. No |
| 8 | | person may be employed by a child care facility that cares for |
| 9 | | children ages 6 and under unless that person shows proof of |
| 10 | | having received: (i) one dose of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, |
| 11 | | and pertussis) vaccine; and (ii) 2 doses of the measles, mumps, |
| 12 | | and rubella (MMR) vaccine or shows proof of immunity to MMR.
