| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act is amended |
| 5 | | by adding Article 3B as follows:

| 9 | | Sec. 3B-5. Definition. As used in this Article: |
| 10 | | "Board" includes a board, commission, authority, task |
| 11 | | force, or other similar body to which one or more members are |
| 12 | | appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the |
| 13 | | Senate, but does not include any subcommittee thereof, and |
| 14 | | where the member receives any form of compensation on a per |
| 15 | | meeting basis; this does not include reimbursement for actual |
| 16 | | travel or other expenses necessarily incurred in discharging |
| 17 | | the duties of the office.
