Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Makes a change in the Section heading to a bidder or offeror authorized to transact business or conduct affairs (now, do business). Effective July 1, 2015.

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning finance.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 20-43 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (30 ILCS 500/20-43) |
| 7 | | Sec. 20-43. Bidder or offeror authorized to transact do |
| 8 | | business or conduct affairs in Illinois. In addition to meeting |
| 9 | | any other requirement of law or rule, a person (other than an |
| 10 | | individual acting as a sole proprietor) may qualify as a bidder |
| 11 | | or offeror under this Code only if the person is a legal entity |
| 12 | | authorized to transact business or conduct affairs in Illinois |
| 13 | | prior to submitting the bid, offer, or proposal.
