| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1750

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1750 as follows:

| 3 | on page 2, line 22, after "convene", by inserting ", within 60 | ||||||
| 4 | days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the | ||||||
| 5 | 99th General Assembly,"; and | ||||||
| 6 | on page 4, line 5, by deleting "and"; and | ||||||
| 7 | on page 4, by replacing line 8 with the following: | ||||||
| 8 | "monitoring residential treatment facilities; and
| ||||||
| 9 | (8) one representative who also serves on the | ||||||
| 10 | Department's Child Welfare Advisory Committee."; and
| ||||||
| 11 | on page 4, by replacing lines 9 through 11 with the following: | ||||||
| 12 | "(d) The Youth in Care Well-Being Monitoring Workgroup | ||||||
| 13 | shall develop a work plan within 120 days after its first | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | meeting and shall submit to the General Assembly an initial | ||||||
| 2 | report with its recommendations no later than February 1, 2016. | ||||||
| 3 | Thereafter, the Workgroup shall submit reports to the General | ||||||
| 4 | Assembly every 6 months with additional recommendations and a | ||||||
| 5 | description of the progress on implementation of | ||||||
| 6 | recommendations. All reports shall be shared with the members | ||||||
| 7 | of the Workgroup prior to submission to the General Assembly."; | ||||||
| 8 | and | ||||||
| 9 | on page 4, immediately below line 26, by inserting the | ||||||
| 10 | following: | ||||||
| 11 | "(g) As used in this Section, "child care facility" means a | ||||||
| 12 | child care facility as defined in Section 2.05 of this Act that | ||||||
| 13 | is also subject to the licensing requirements of 89 Ill. Adm. | ||||||
| 14 | Code 403 or 89 Ill. Adm. Code 404. | ||||||
| 15 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 16 | becoming law.".
