| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1826 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 9, line 24, by replacing "9" with "7 9"; and
|
| 4 | | on page 10, by replacing lines 2 and 3 with:
|
| 5 | | "State of Illinois, one member 3 members shall be a qualified |
| 6 | | medical director directors, and 2 members shall be hospital |
| 7 | | administrators."; and
|
| 8 | | on page 10, by replacing lines 4 through 7 with:
|
| 9 | | "(b) Members shall be appointed to a 4-year 3-year term; |
| 10 | | except, initial appointees shall serve the following terms: 3 |
| 11 | | members shall serve for one year, 3 members shall serve for 2 |
| 12 | | years, and 3 members shall serve for 3 years. A member whose |
| 13 | | term has"; and

| 8 | | required by law, for incompetence, or for unprofessional or |
| 9 | | dishonorable conduct."; and

| 10 | | on page 11, below line 9, by inserting as follows:

| 11 | | "(g) Four members of the Board shall constitute a quorum. A |
| 12 | | vacancy in the membership of the Board shall not impair the |
| 13 | | right of a quorum to exercise all the rights and perform all |
| 14 | | the duties of the Board."; and

| 15 | | on page 11, line 10, by replacing "(g)" with "(h)".
