AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1898 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1898 as follows:


 
3by replacing line 23 on page 2 through line 4 on page 3 with 
4"law, and the application is denied after a review of 
5eligibility, which may include facial recognition comparison, 
6the applicant shall not be entitled to a refund of any fees 
7paid."; and

 
8on page 12, by replacing lines 7 through 14 with the following:

 
9    "(b) Every original, renewal, or duplicate (i) 
10identification card issued to a person who has reached his or 
11her 65th birthday shall be permanent and need not be renewed 
12and (ii) Illinois Person with a Disability Identification Card 
13issued to a qualifying person shall expire 10 years thereafter. 
14The Secretary of State shall promulgate rules setting forth the 
15conditions and criteria for"; and

1on page 12, line 17, by replacing "By" with "Beginning"; and

 
2on page 15, line 14, by replacing "By" with "Beginning"; and

 
3on page 18, by replacing lines 16 through 22 with "or rejected
