AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2138 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2138 on page 2, by 
3inserting immediately below line 6 the following:
 
4        "(2) Requires, or has the effect of requiring, a 
5    service receiver to indemnify a service provider for 
6    damages resulting from the acts or omissions of the service 
7    provider or the services provider's agents or employees."; 
8    and
 
9on page 2, line 7, by changing "(2)" to "(3)"; and
 
10on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 11 the 
11following:
 
12        "(4) Requires, or has the effect of requiring, a 
13    service receiver to hold a service provider harmless from 
14    any tort liability for damages resulting from the acts or

1    omissions of the service provider or the service provider's 
2    agents or employees."; and
 
3on page 2, line 12, by changing "(3)" to "(5)"; and
 
4on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 16 the 
5following:
 
6        "(6) Requires, or has the effect of requiring, a 
7    service receiver to defend a service provider against any 
8    tort liability for damages resulting from the acts or 
9    omissions of the service provider or the service provider's 
10    agents or employees.".
