1    AN ACT concerning State government.
  
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
3represented in the General Assembly:
  
 
 
4    Section 5. The State Treasurer Act is amended  by changing 
5Sections 11 and 14 as follows:
 



6    (15 ILCS 505/11)  (from Ch. 130, par. 11)



7    Sec. 11. 
When any warrant is presented to the State 
8Treasurer to be
countersigned, he shall do so if the warrant is 
9in proper form and there
are sufficient moneys in the fund to 
10pay the warrant. He shall also make a
record of the date and , 
11amount of each warrant and name of the person to whom the same 
12is made
payable.

13    Upon request for a wire or electronic transfer of funds 
14pursuant to a
warrant payable from the State treasury, the 
15State Treasurer may impose upon
and collect from the requesting 
16payee a service charge covering all costs
of such transfer.

19    Sec. 14. 


20    He shall, at appropriate intervals but at least once each 
21month at the close of each month, report to the State 
22Comptroller
the amount of money received and paid out by him

1during the time period month, stating
on what account the same 
2was received and paid; and shall, at appropriate
intervals but 
3at least once each month, report to deposit with the 
4Comptroller all
warrants, properly canceled, which he may have 
5paid, and take the
Comptroller's receipt for the same.
