| 4 | | "Section 5. The Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act |
| 5 | | is amended by adding Section 57 as follows:

| 6 | | (415 ILCS 150/57 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 57. Cathode ray tube collection fee. Notwithstanding |
| 8 | | any other provision of this Act, a collector may charge a fee |
| 9 | | to accept a CED that contains a cathode-ray tube. The fee |
| 10 | | authorized under this Section shall not exceed $25 for each |
| 11 | | accepted CED that contains a cathode-ray tube.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 13 | | becoming law.".
