AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2437 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2437 on page 1, in 
3line 18, after "late.", by inserting "The Fund shall provide a 
4written notice of delinquency to an Employer 10 calendar days 
5before the 30 calendar days of subsection (a) of this Section. 
6If the Fund fails to provide an Employer with a written notice 
7of delinquency 10 calendar days before the 30 calendar days of 
8subsection (a) of this Section, the Fund is prohibited from 
9administering any penalty to the Employer for such submission 
10until the Fund provides a 10 calendar day notice to the 
11Employer. 


12    An Employer assessed a penalty may provide the Board a 
13Request for a Waiver of the penalty for good cause shown within 
1430 days from the date of issuance of an invoice for such 
15penalty.  The invoice will be deemed delinquent if unpaid 30 
16days from the date of issuance, unless the Board notifies the 
17Employer of acceptance of the Employer's Request for a Waiver 
18of the penalty and such penalty is waived by the Board."; and

1on page 2, in line 3, after "Board.", by inserting "The Fund

5with written notice of delinquency 10 calendar days before the 
630th calendar day after the predesignated payday, the Fund is

8that delinquent amount until the Fund provides a 10 calendar 
9day notice to the Employer.
