| 10 | | characteristic of the collaborative law process. Participation |
| 11 | | in a collaborative law process is a voluntary act by the |
| 12 | | parties as well as by their attorneys. Except as otherwise |
| 13 | | provided in subsection (c), a collaborative lawyer operating |
| 14 | | under a limited scope liability agreement, as defined by |
| 15 | | Illinois Supreme Court Rules 11, 13, and 137, not to engage in |
