| 3 | | by inserting in the proper numeric sequence the following:

| 4 | | "Section 10. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 1-2.1-2.5 as follows:

| 6 | | (65 ILCS 5/1-2.1-2.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 1-2.1-2.5. Administrative adjudication of specified |
| 8 | | violations. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the |
| 9 | | contrary, any municipality may provide by ordinance that their |
| 10 | | system of administrative adjudication of municipal code |
| 11 | | violations may adjudicate offenses including, but not limited |
| 12 | | to, violations of a municipal code similar to a violation under |
| 13 | | Section 12-610.2 of the Illinois Vehicle Code.".
