SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates funding for Autism Programs to the Department of Human Services for FY16 expenses. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

Section 5. The following named sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Department of Human Services for Grants-In-Aid and Purchased Care in its various regions pursuant to Sections 3 and 4 of the Community Services Act and the Community Mental Health Act:

Payable from the General Revenue Fund:

  For a grant to the Autism Program for an

   Autism Diagnosis Education Program

   for Individuals ..................................4,300,000  

 

  Section 10. The following named amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Human Services for Payments to Community Providers and Administrative Expenditures, including such Federal funds as are made available by the Federal Government for the following purpose:

Payable from Autism Research Checkoff Fund:

  For costs associated with autism research ..........100,000

Payable from Autism Awareness Fund:

  For costs associated with autism awareness .........100,000

 

Section 98. The appropriation authority granted in this Act shall be valid for costs incurred July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect Immediately.
