Amends the Township Code. Provides that by-laws, rules, and regulations shall also be posted on the township's Internet website if there is such a website in addition to being published in a newspaper. Effective immediately.

|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Township Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 40-30 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (60 ILCS 1/40-30)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 40-30. Notice of township regulations. The township |
| 8 | | clerk shall cause
all by-laws, rules, and regulations of the |
| 9 | | township to be published within 20
days after their adoption by |
| 10 | | posting them in 3 public places in the town. The
clerk also |
| 11 | | shall cause the by-laws, rules, and regulations to be inserted |
| 12 | | once
in a newspaper published in the township if there is such |
| 13 | | a newspaper, and posted on the township's Internet website if |
| 14 | | there is such a website. All
by-laws, rules, and regulations |
| 15 | | shall take effect and be in force from the date
of their |
| 16 | | adoption unless otherwise directed by the electors.
