SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert J. "Bob" Rymsza, Sr. of Joliet,
4who passed away on December 7, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Rymsza, Sr. graduated from Joliet Township
6High School in 1966; he served in the United States Army
7Reserve from 1969 to 1972 and was honorably discharged; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Rymsza, Sr. retired in April of 2013 from
9the Dr Pepper Snapple Group after 40 years of service as a
10transportation driver, having driven over 3,900,000 miles; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Rymsza, Sr. was a member of The American
12Legion, Joliet Harwood Post #5; he enjoyed playing euchre,
13spending weekends at the Wilmington Recreation Club, camping
14and fishing with his family, and taking fishing trips to Lake
15Erie; he won numerous fishing contests; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Robert Rymsza, Sr. was preceded in death by his
17father, Joseph E. Rymsza, and by his father-in-law and
18mother-in-law, Theodore and Lillian (nee Valek) Juricic; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Robert Rymsza, Sr. is survived by his wife of 33
20years, Linda (nee Juricic); his children, Amanda (Erik) Brown,

1Stephanie (Michael Schronski) Rymsza, and Robert Rymsza, Jr.;
2his mother, Evelyn Rymsza (nee Birmingham); his sister, Judy
3(Paul) Svendsen; his brother-in-law, Larry (Valerie) Juricic;
4his sisters-in-law, Debbie (Larry) Magolan and Donna (Ray)
5Randich; and his nieces and nephews, Troy, Taylor, and Tara
6Price, Luke Juricic, Ben and Jessica Magolan, Zak, Lauren, and
7Daniel Randich, Jan (Jeff) Bain, Greg Svendsen, Trish (Kevin)
8Feeney, and Ginny (Mike) Kempf; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
11Robert J. "Bob" Rymsza, Sr., and extend our sincere condolences
12to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
13it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Robert Rymsza, Sr. as an expression
16of our deepest sympathy.
