SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  June H. Hansen of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on October 23, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, June Hansen was born on January 10, 1918 in 
6Birnamwood, Wisconsin and grew up in Denmark, Wisconsin; she 
7relocated to Waukegan in 1949; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, June Hansen had worked as a secretary at North 
9Shore Gas for over 20 years until her retirement at the age of 
1072; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, June Hansen was a member of the North Shore Gas 
12Retirees Club and was an avid reader; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, June Hansen was preceded in death by her husband, 
14Orville Hansen; a son, Kurt (Nancy) Hansen; her parents, Dr. 
15H.W. and Nell Jacobson; and a sister, Phyllis (Don) Buchta; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, June Hansen is survived by a son, Marc (Teresa) 
17Hansen; 3 grandsons, Lance, Matthew (Ashley Campbell), and 
18Jacob; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of June H. Hansen; and be 
3it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of June Hansen as an expression of our 
6sympathy.
