SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dell Luise Urban of Wadsworth, who passed 
4away on December 8, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dell Urban was born in Evanston on July 25, 1942 
6to Norman and Dell Luis Scheuber; she attended elementary 
7school in a one-room schoolhouse that is now the Wadsworth 
8Village Hall; she graduated from Warren Township High School in 
91960; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dell Urban was an avid equestrian; she loved all 
11her animals, but horses were her passion; along with some 
12friends, she originated the Wadsworth Wranglers; she performed 
13throughout the Midwest, racing quarter horses and as a trick 
14rider in rodeos; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Dell Urban was preceded in death by her parents 
16and her brother, Norman "Snook"; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Dell Urban is survived by her husband of 46 years, 
18Edward; her son, Lonnie (Maureen) Urban; her daughter, Dell 
19"Wheezer" Urban (Tina Gatz); her grandson, Devin Urban; her 
20sister-in-law, Susie Martin; and her best friends, Cheryl 
21Bushing, Chris Stavinoga, Darlene Schaefer, and Carol

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Dell Luise Urban, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Dell Urban as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
