SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary E. Pasiewicz, who passed away on
4October 9, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was born in Waukegan on August 21,
61919 to Lawrence and Mary (nee Dolence) Furlan; she attended
7Holy Family Church in North Chicago through the 8th grade; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was a homemaker and the owner of
9Bucks Pool Hall; she was employed at the Great Lakes Naval
10Station and with the Veterans Administration; she also worked
11as a nanny; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was a past President of Christian
13Singles; she loved people and conversation, listening to music,
14and traveling; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was preceded in death by her
16parents; her husband, Stanley (Buck); her son, Lawrence; and
17her 3 brothers, Frank, Louis, and Edward; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz is survived by her children,
19Loretta, Mike (Patricia), Paul, Stan (Pattie), and Dan (Linda);
20her 9 grandchildren, Raymond (Kimberly), Joseph (fiancee

1Vonda), Michelle (Mike), Daniel (Katie), Ashley (Joshua),
2Jessica, Davina, Christina, and Alyssa; her 9
3great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Bailey, Delaney, Anna, Grace,
4Drew, Hailey, Hayden, and Shane; and her special friends, The
5Merz family; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Mary E. Pasiewicz, and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Mary Pasiewicz as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
