| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of William "Bill" J. McClintock, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on December 15, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, William McClintock was born on May 11, 1955 in | ||||||
| 6 | Alton; his parents were William E. and Ilse (nee Dahlen) | ||||||
| 7 | McClintock; he married Cynthia K. Cribbet on July 6, 1974 in | ||||||
| 8 | Kingsville, Texas; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, William McClintock served his country as a member | ||||||
| 10 | of the United States Navy; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, William McClintock was employed as a laborer for | ||||||
| 12 | the City of Alton Street Department for many years; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, William McClintock was a member of the American | ||||||
| 14 | Legion Post 354 in Alton and Teamsters Local 525; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, William McClintock enjoyed gardening, fishing, | ||||||
| 16 | and spending time with his family; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, William McClintock is preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 18 | father; a brother, Dennis J. McClintock; and a nephew, Frank | ||||||
| 19 | Kuter; and | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | WHEREAS, William McClintock is survived by his wife, | ||||||
| 2 | Cynthia; his mother; 2 children and their spouses, Elizabeth | ||||||
| 3 | and Matthew Polak and Christen and Christina McClintock; 4 | ||||||
| 4 | grandchildren, Blake, Baylea, Stephanie, and Sydnie; a | ||||||
| 5 | great-granddaughter, Rylie; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam | ||||||
| 6 | and Mike Sherman; 5 nieces, Marcie Marlow, Jennifer Robbins, | ||||||
| 7 | Sarah Goodman, Beth Baty, and Natalie Sherman; a sister-in-law | ||||||
| 8 | and brother-in-law, Sherry and Larry Robbins; and a | ||||||
| 9 | brother-in-law, Doug Cribbet; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 10 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 11 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 12 | family and friends, mourn the passing of William "Bill" J. | ||||||
| 13 | McClintock; and be it further
| ||||||
| 14 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 15 | presented to the family of William McClintock as an expression | ||||||
| 16 | of our sympathy.
