| 3 | | learn of the death of John J. "Jake" Jakovich, who passed away |
| 4 | | on December 21, 2014; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Jakovich graduated from Joliet Catholic High |
| 6 | | School in 1961; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, John Jakovich had a renowned career in the retail |
| 8 | | automotive industry; he worked for many years at Vidmar Buick |
| 9 | | and finished as Executive Manager at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in |
| 10 | | Plainfield in 2010; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, John Jakovich was an avid golfer and bowler; he |
| 12 | | was a member of the Moran Athletic Club and Plainfield Moose |
| 13 | | Lodge #2491; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, John Jakovich was preceded in death by his |
| 15 | | parents, John E. and Alice (nee Benedick) Jakovich; his |
| 16 | | brother-in-law; and numerous aunts and uncles; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, John Jakovich is survived by his wife of 48 years, |
| 18 | | Marilyn (nee Sorensen); his sons, John "Jake, Jr.", Jason |
| 19 | | (Amanda), and Joseph (Shannon) Jakovich; his grandchildren, |
| 20 | | Brady, Jake, Alison, Jack, and Maggie Jakovich; his sister, |
