SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Maureen A. (nee O'Malley) Calo of Aurora, 
4who passed away on December 11, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Maureen Calo was born on November 29, 1958; and
  
 
  
6    WHEREAS, Maureen Calo loved to cook, entertain, garden, 
7sing karaoke, and spend time at the lake house; she treasured 
8spending time with family and friends; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Maureen Calo  was the beloved wife of Nick; the 
10proud mother of Amy and Riley; the cherished daughter of the 
11late Thomas and Ann O'Malley; the cherished daughter-in-law of 
12Catherine and the late Lawrence Calo; the loving sister of Tom 
13(Maureen) O'Malley, Kathy Peronti, Ann (Nick) Cataldo, Pat 
14(Aileen) O'Malley, Amy O'Malley, and EJ Detiveaux; the dear 
15sister-in-law of Mary Lou (Neel) Malik; the former 
16sister-in-law of Gino Peronti; and the fond aunt of 12 nieces 
17and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Maureen A. Calo, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
21family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
