SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph John "Joe" Wallace, III of Homer
4Glen, who passed away on December 20, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III was born in Joliet; he
6graduated from Ripon College in 1974 and settled in Lockport in
71975; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III was President and CEO with the
9First National Bank of Lockport and remained with the bank
10throughout the years through various owners, ending with First
11Midwest Bank as Sr. Vice-President; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III was active with SOS Children's
13Villages and Mainstreet in Lockport; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III enjoyed spending time with his
15family; he was an avid golfer and was a member of the Lockport
16Golf and Recreation Club; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Joseph Wallace, III is survived by his wife of 39
18years, Chris (nee Overly); his children, Colleen (Matthew)
19Hindman and Ryan Wallace; his granddaughters, Maisy and Penny
20Hindman; his parents, Joseph, Jr. and Doris (nee Pohl) Wallace;

1his brothers, Tim and Terry (Kim) Wallace; his sister, Patty
2(Jeff) Richards; and his nephews, Jack and Joe Richards;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Joseph John "Joe" Wallace, III, and extend our sincere
7condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
8him; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Joseph Wallace, III as an expression
11of our deepest sympathy.
