SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Thomas L. Beveridge of Crystal Lake, who 
4passed away on December 3, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Beveridge was born on February 28, 1933 in 
6St. Louis, Missouri; his parents were Andrew J. and Leona (nee 
7Abbott) Beveridge; he married Anita Ward on July 23, 1959; she 
8passed away in October of 2000; he later married Kathleen Leren 
9on September 25, 2004; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Thomas Beveridge served his country as a member of 
11the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1956; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Thomas Beveridge attended Washington University 
13in St. Louis; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Thomas Beveridge was the Vice President of Sales 
15at Witco Chemical Company until his retirement after 37 years 
16of service; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Thomas Beveridge was preceded in death by his 
18parents and his first wife, Anita; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Thomas Beveridge is survived by his loving wife,

1Kathleen; 2 children, Kevin Beveridge and Kim (Keith) Wedl; 4 
2granddaughters, Kendra and Kayla Wedl and Devin and Emily 
3Beveridge; a stepson, Curtis (Amal) Leren; a stepdaughter, 
4Stacie Leren (fiance, Zak Grill); a step-granddaughter, Alina 
5Leren; and his many friends; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas L. Beveridge; 
9and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Thomas  Beveridge as an expression of 
12our sympathy.
