SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Mary Raistrick of Peoria, who passed away 
4on January 8, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Raistrick was born in Peoria on March 5, 1919 
6to Henry and Elma Wooley Ocker; she married Willard "Pete" 
7Raistrick; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Raistrick founded Nature's Own Shoppe in 
9Peoria in 1967 and was the owner and operator; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Mary Raistrick was preceded her in death by her 
11first husband, Willard "Pete"; her parents; her 2 sons, Gerald 
12and Steven Raistrick; her 3 sisters; and her 3 brothers; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Raistrick is survived by her second husband, 
14Norv Schneider; her son, Philip Raistrick; her 
15daughter-in-law, Kathryn Raistrick; her 6 grandchildren, 
16Victoria Raistrick, Jonathan Raistrick, David and Craig 
17Raistrick, Christopher Raistrick, and Mark Raistrick; and her 
1811 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Mary Raistrick, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
