SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dr. Boyd E. McCracken of Greenville, who 
4passed away on January 19, 2015; and
  
 
  
5    WHEREAS, Dr. McCracken leaves a legacy that includes the 
6formation of Greenville Regional Hospital; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dr. McCracken has been recognized with many awards 
8throughout his career, including the Greenville Chamber of 
9Commerce Gerald Turley Memorial Award; and

  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dr. McCracken had an immense impact on the 
11Greenville area; therefore, be it
  
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
14Dr. Boyd E. McCracken, and extend our sincere condolences to 
15his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
16further
  
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
18presented to the family of Dr. McCracken as an expression of 
19our deepest sympathy.
