SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Clara J. Liker, who passed away on 
4January 7, 2015; and
  
 

  
5    WHEREAS, Clara Liker was a proud member of the Cathedral of 
6St. Raymond Council of Catholic Women, the Cathedral Seniors 
7Club, and the Will County Seniors; she also cherished fond 
8memories of her membership in the St. Raymond Mother's Club and 
9the Moran Club Auxiliary; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Clara Liker was preceded in death by her husband 
11of 61 years, Ikey Liker, Sr.; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Clara Liker is survived by her children, Patricia 
13(late Harold Patrick) Graham, Myra (Richard) Stefanich, Linda 
14Schultz, Ikey (Peggy) Liker, Jr. and Janet Stash; her 
15grandchildren, Colleen (Thomas) Dow, Christine (Matthew) 
16Gambs, Matthew (Heidi) Stefanich, David (Carole) Stefanich, 
17Richard Stefanich, Laura (Travis) Gray, Mary Callier, Tricia 
18Papesh, Kelly Liker, Kent Liker, Clare (Ben) Himes, Michael 
19(Nicki) Brenczewski, and Shannon Stash; and her 16 
20great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Clara J. Liker, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Clara Liker as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
