SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Alfonse "Al" Zuccarini of Brimfield, who 
4passed away on March 2, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was born on August 11, 1957 in 
6Freeport, New York; his parents were John Louis and Marie 
7Deloris (nee Gannatti) Zuccarini; he married Kathy Gisslen on 
8May 7, 2004 in Peoria; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was the owner of World Famous 
10Big Al's in downtown Peoria since 1997; as a businessman, he 
11was instrumental in the establishment of many businesses in the 
12Peoria area; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was preceded in death by his 
14father and a brother-in-law, Robert Schoepfer; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini is survived by his wife, Kathy; 
16his mother, Marie; a daughter, Nicole Zuccarini; 2 sisters, 
17Margherite Schoepfer and Joanne (George) Swarbrick; a niece, 
18Corinne (Stephen) Henry; and a great-nephew, Stephen Henry, 
19Jr.; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Alfonse "Al" 
3Zuccarini; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Alfonse Zuccarini as an expression 
6of our sympathy.
