SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  John Carl Richardson, who passed away on 
4March 6, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Richardson was born on August 9, 1937 in 
6Chicago; his parents were John Joseph and Alice (nee Matthews) 
7Richardson; he married Carole S. (nee Schneider) Richardson on 
8April 19, 1959 in Alton; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Richardson retired from the Madison County 
10Assessor's Office after 30 years of dedicated service as a 
11field supervisor; he also worked in the photography department 
12at Graham's Bookstore in Granite City for many years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, John Richardson's love in life was photography; he 
14was the photographer for numerous occasions and events 
15throughout the years and also for many years at local race 
16track events; he was also a member of the Odd Fellows and 
17enjoyed his days of fishing, hunting, and watching racing; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, John Richardson was preceded in death by his 
19parents and a brother, Jack Richardson; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, John Richardson is survived by his beloved wife,

1Carole; a daughter, Deborah Stauffer; a son, John C. 
2Richardson, III; his grandchildren and their spouses, Heather 
3and Keith Perigo, Brittni Richardson, Jessica Lloyd, Chris and 
4Erin Stauffer, and Andrea Stauffer; 4 great-grandchildren, 
5Rylee Perigo, Anderson John Perigo, Madison Stauffer, and 
6Taylor Stauffer; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sadie and 
7Arthur Lewis, Lola and Lyndall Newell, and Lucinda Richardson; 
8a sister-in-law, Nancy Richardson; his many nieces and nephews; 
9and his many other extended family members and friends; 
10therefore, be it
  
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
13family and friends, mourn the passing of John Carl Richardson; 
14and be it further
  
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
16presented to the family of John Richardson as an expression of 
17our sympathy.
