SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Marion Byrne Needham; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Marion Needham was born in 1934; she graduated 
5from Saint Scholastica High School and attended nursing school; 
6she married Pat Needham on September 1, 1955 at St. Ita's 
7Church on Broadway and they had 7 children in the next 11 
8years; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Marion Needham served as a Eucharistic minister at 
10St. Mary's Church in Des Plaines; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Marion Needham enjoyed spending time with her 
12family and friends, hamburgers at Hackney's on Harms, a glass 
13of Bailey's Irish Cream, knitting, coffee, flowers, and baking; 
14she enjoyed all the holidays, but Christmas Eve was her 
15favorite; she was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Marion Needham loved children, especially her 
17children and her 16 grandchildren, Patrick, Jack, Owen, Emily, 
18Katie, Gracie, Maggie, Helen, Jimmy, Brenna, Maeve, Joey, 
19Meggie, Fiona, Cody, and Bailey; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Marion Byrne Needham, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Marion Needham as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
