SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Terry R. Lieb of Monticello, who passed 
4away on March 8, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Terry Lieb was born on June 3, 1954 in Decatur; 
6his parents were Robert F. and Marilyn E. (nee Chapman) Lieb; 
7he married Tanya Sebens on February 27, 1977 in Monticello; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Terry Lieb was a lifelong 4th generation farmer; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Terry Lieb served on the Board of Directors for 
11the Illinois/Indiana Bison Association; he served as President 
12of the Piatt County Farm Bureau and as a member of the Board of 
13Directors for the Piatt County Soil and Water Conservation 
14District and the Monticello Grain Company; he was also a member 
15of the Eastern Illinois A.B.A.T.E. Chapter; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Terry Lieb enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, 
17raising buffalo, playing with his grandchildren, traveling 
18with his wife and friends, politics, and serving as an advocate 
19for agriculture; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Terry Lieb was preceded in death by his mother;

2    WHEREAS, Terry Lieb is survived by his wife, Tanya Lieb; 2 
3sons, Josh (Julie) Lieb and Jake Lieb; 2 grandchildren, William 
4and Jackson Lieb; his father, Robert Lieb; and a sister, Janet 
5L. (Cliff) White; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Terry R. Lieb; and be 
9it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Terry Lieb as an expression of our 
12sympathy.
