SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Maryruth Ginn of Peoria, who passed away
4on March 12, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Maryruth Ginn was born on February 1, 1933 in
6Lewistown, Missouri; her parents were James A. and Ona E. (nee
7Epperson) Adams; she was formerly married to Ralph Ginn; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Maryruth Ginn served as an art teacher at Bolin
9School and Central Junior High School in East Peoria, Illinois
10Central College, Bradley University, and, most recently, at
11Midstate College; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Maryruth Ginn was devoted to her dogs, Lala and
13Safera, and the many students she had over her 54-year career;
14she loved creating art and spending time with her artistic
15friends; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Maryruth Ginn is survived by 2 daughters, Allison
17(Scott) Goodyear and Amy Ginn (Tom) Westwater; 4 grandchildren,
18Tyler and Emily Goodyear and Ry and Peter Westwater; and a
19sister, Ann (George) Lamb; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Maryruth Ginn; and be
3it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Maryruth Ginn as an expression of
6our sympathy.
