| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Kathleen Sullivan-Stewart of Oak Park, |
| 4 | | who passed away on January 4, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Sullivan-Stewart had a Doctorate of |
| 6 | | Ministry and directed the liturgy training program for lay |
| 7 | | ministers at the Office of Divine Worship for the Archdiocese |
| 8 | | of Chicago; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Sullivan-Stewart was the wife of George |
| 10 | | Stewart for 51 years; the mother of Julia (Milton English), |
| 11 | | Patrick (Fouzia), and Michael (Molly) Stewart; the proud "Gram" |
| 12 | | of Sullivan, Bailey, Victoria, Lauren, and Malcolm; the sister |
| 13 | | of Sue Sullivan; the sister-in-law of Lois Stewart and the late |
| 14 | | Alice Ekstrom and Wilma Nielsen; the daughter of Walter and |
| 15 | | Annetta Sullivan; and the aunt, great friend, and mentor to |
| 16 | | many; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 | | Kathleen Sullivan-Stewart, and extend our sincere condolences |
| 20 | | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be |
