SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert E. Schultz of Marengo, who passed
4away on January 13, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Schultz was born in Belvidere on August 22,
61929 to Leslie Schultz and Nettie Phelps; he served in the
7United States Army from 1951 through 1953 as the Chief Cook at
8the Fairbanks, Alaska base; he married Sandra Wilkins at St.
9John's United Church of Christ in Harmony on January 19, 1957;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Schultz worked as an engineer at Arnold
12Engineering in Marengo for 44 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Schultz enjoyed going out every Saturday
14night for dinner and dancing with his wife; he took great joy
15in playing with his little dog, Boots; he also enjoyed
16operating his computer; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Schultz was preceded in death by his
18mother; his father; and his brother, Leslie; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Robert Schultz is survived by his wife, Sandra;
20her brother, Henry (Joan Wilkins); his sister-in-law, Gladine

1(Gene Krueger); his nephews, Gary Lockhart, Gregg Lockhart, and
2Chris Wilkins (Crystal); his niece, Jennifer Wilkins; his
3great-nieces and nephews, Payton Lockhart, Kadin and Sophia
4Garcia, and Parker Wilkins; and his aunt, Elanor Phelps;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Robert E. Schultz, and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Robert Schultz as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
