SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Thomas M. Stock of Lake in the Hills, who 
4passed away on March 23, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Stock was born in Libertyville on November 
628, 1959 to William and Isabella (nee Welch) Stock; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Thomas Stock spent his entire career working for 
8Northwestern Mutual; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Thomas Stock was a member of St. Mary Catholic 
10Church in Huntley, where he served as a lay minister, reader, 
11religious education teacher, and fundraiser organizer; he 
12volunteered with the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Lake 
13in the Hills Rotary Club, the Lake in the Hills Zoning Board, 
14and as a Salvation Army bell ringer; he enjoyed spending time 
15with his family, playing guitar, and performing with his band, 
16No Left Turn; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Thomas Stock was preceded in death by his parents; 
18his brother, Herbert Stock; and his niece, Jamie Stock; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Thomas Stock is survived by his wife of 30 years, 
20Julie Ann (nee O'Malley); his children, Caitlin (Jon) Thorton,

1Jillian Stock, and Daniel Stock; and his siblings, William and 
2Richard Stock; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Thomas M. Stock, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Thomas Stock as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
