SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kathryn Bickerman Downing of Peoria 
4Heights, who passed away on March 26, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kathryn Downing was born on November 9, 1940 in 
6Peoria; her parents were Dr. Raymond and Kathryn (nee Eckert) 
7Bickerman; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Kathryn Downing enjoyed spending time with her 
9family, sports, swimming, walking, politics, the military, and 
10her cherished dogs; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kathryn Downing was preceded in death by her 
12parents and her husband, General Wayne A. Downing; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Kathryn Downing is survived by 5 sons, Daniel 
14Patrick (Leanne) Immesoete, Barry Vincent Immesoete-Cain, Dr. 
15Phillip A. Immesoete, II, Drew Baron Immesoete, and Morgan 
16Christopher Immesoete; a daughter, Kathryn Immesoete-Cain; 5 
17grandchildren, John Phillip and Molly Anne Immesoete and 
18Charles Patrick, Mary Kathryn, and John Casey Immesoete-Cain; 2 
19step-daughters, Elizabeth Downing Revell and Laura Downing; 
20and 2 cousins, Dr. G. David (Ann) Best and Martin C. (Theresa)

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathryn Bickerman 
4Downing; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Kathryn Downing as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
